ABOUT JOEY
Joey played in his first U.S. Kids Golf Tournament at age 4. He qualified for his first professional golf tournament, the Minnesota State Open, at age 15 and again at age 17. Joey was one of the top junior golfers in the State of Minnesota. He was the Medalist qualifier for MN in 2015, qualifying him to play in the USGA 2015 Junior Amateur Championship, at the beautiful Pete Dye Colleton River Plantation Course in South Carolina.
Growing up Joey was always around golf. His father is a teaching pro and he grew up on the family driving range that also had an 18 hole wedge course. Joey and his brother Bobby played many rounds on the wedge course and hit balls year round on the driving range.
Joey turned Professional in Arizona at the WMPO pre-qualifier. Moving to Arizona has allowed Joey to practice year-round to prepare him for professional tournaments around the country. The goal is to work his way on to the Korn Ferry Tour and to play on the PGA Tour.
Currently Joey is playing on the Outlaw Tour, Dakotas Tour, and local professional tournaments.
